This morning, attend the first conference session, held at the hotel from 9.00am to 11.00am.

Wander through the city's iconic canals and piazzas, visit world-renowned landmarks such as St Mark's Square and the Doge's Palace, or participate in one of the optional sightseeing experiences available.

This evening, reconvene with fellow delegates for a group dinner at the hotel.

Thursday 29 April – Venice to Ljubljana

After breakfast, depart Venice by coach and travel into neighbouring Slovenia. En route, visit the renowned Lipica Stud Farm, the historic birthplace of the famous Lipizzaner horses and one of Europe's oldest stud farms. Enjoy a guided tour of the estate and stables, gaining fascinating insight into centuries of equestrian heritage and the breeding traditions that have made Lipica internationally renowned. Lunch will be served during your visit.

Following lunch, continue to the elegant Slovenian capital of Ljubljana, arriving later in the afternoon. The evening is at leisure to settle in and enjoy the city's vibrant riverside atmosphere.

Saturday 1 May – Lake Bled

Today, experience one of Slovenia's most iconic destinations with a full-day coach excursion to Lake Bled.

Surrounded by the Julian Alps, Lake Bled is renowned for its emerald-green waters, fairytale island church and dramatic clifftop castle. Enjoy time to explore the lakeside village, admire the magnificent scenery and discover why this region is considered one of the most beautiful in Central Europe.

Return to Ljubljana in the late afternoon.

Sunday 2 May – Ljubljana to Opatija

This morning, depart Ljubljana by coach and travel to the spectacular Postojna Cave, one of the world's most impressive karst cave systems.

Following your visit, continue into Croatia and onward to the elegant Adriatic resort town of Opatija, often referred to as the "Pearl of the Adriatic".

Following breakfast, depart Opatija by coach and travel towards Croatia's capital city, Zagreb.

After your visit, continue onward to Zagreb, arriving in the late afternoon where the main conference program will commence.
